The invention discloses a protecting device of an exterior decorative insulation board. The protecting device of the exterior decorative insulation board comprises a plurality of protecting plates, an upper chute, a lower chute, a left chute and a right chute, wherein the upper chute, the left chute, the lower chute and the right chute are sequentially connected to one another in a surrounding mode to form a square frame; a plurality of protecting plates are spliced in the square frame side by side; upper edges and lower edges of the protecting plates are respectively clamped in the upper chute and the lower chute; and the left edge of the first protecting plate is clamped in the left chute while the right edge of the last protecting plate is clamped in the right chute. The protecting plates are made of transparent and safe glass, when the protecting plates are broken, fragments cannot hurt people, and antitheft and fireproof functions are fulfilled. While the protecting effect is achieved, the decoration effect of the surface of the insulation board is affected. A seam between each two adjacent pieces of transparent safe glass is filled with transparent glass adhesive in an adhesion mode, and the stereoscopic transparency effect is good.
