The invention discloses a dual-protection method of a security door. The dual-protection method of the security door comprises the following steps: S1: independently establishing an inhabitant image database and a visitor image database; S2: obtaining an image of an entering person who enters a room through the door each time, and obtaining the image of each leaving person who leaves through the door each time; S3: comparing the image of the entering person with the pictures of inhabitants in the inhabitant image database, judging a visitor picture, storing the visitor picture into the visitor image database, and updating the visitor image database according to the image of the leaving person; S4: obtaining a to-be-entered door opening instruction input through the outer side of the door, and obtaining a to-be-entered door opening person image of the input to-be-entered door opening instruction. The dual-protection method of the security door can precisely and efficiently judge the legality of people who enter the room, and avoids a situation that the personal and property security of the inhabitant is threatened since criminals enter the room by illegal means.
