The invention provides a wireless-communication-based intersection traffic control system facilitating bus passage. The intersection traffic control system comprises a first bus detection device (5) which is arranged on a bus lane and positioned at a location before entering an intersection (10), a second bus detection device (12) which is arranged on the bus lane and positioned at the location after passing through the intersection (10), an intersection vehicle detection sensor (13) which is arranged in the intersection (10), a trunk road outlet vehicle detection sensor and a trunk road inlet vehicle detection sensor which are arranged at a trunk road inlet-and-outlet (9), and a trunk road outlet elevating railing (61) and a trunk road inlet elevating railing (62) which are correspondingly arranged. A branch outlet vehicle detection sensor and a branch inlet vehicle detection sensor are arranged at a branch inlet-and-outlet (8), and a branch outlet elevating railing (71) and a branch inlet elevating railing (72) are correspondingly arranged. Smooth bus passage is facilitated by the wireless-communication-based intersection traffic control system facilitating bus passage.
