The invention discloses a viscosity-control type polycarboxylate superplasticizer for lean cemented concrete and a preparation method of the viscosity-control type polycarboxylate superplasticizer. The preparation method comprises the following steps: step 1, preparing a cationic copolymer; and step 2, performing copolymerization to obtain the viscosity-control type polycarboxylate superplasticizer for the lean cemented concrete. According to the preparation method, a certain amount of functional groups including hydrophobic groups, the cationic copolymer and the like are introduced into the molecular structure of the superplasticizer to achieve an effect of adjusting the viscosity of the concrete under the action of the superplasticizer. When the superplasticizer is in use, an air-entraining agent, a defoaming agent, a retarder and a thickening agent can be added. The viscosity-control type polycarboxylate superplasticizer for the lean cemented concrete, prepared by the method disclosed by the invention, has the advantages of high water-reducing rate, low bleeding rate, obvious viscosity adjusting effect, good cement adaptability and the like, and is particularly applicable to preparation of low-grade pump concrete with a low use level of a cementing material.
