The invention relates to the technical field of cement preparation, in particular to an economic wall foamed block material. The economic wall foamed block material comprises light-calcined magnesia powder or caustic dolomite powder, a modifier, a magnesium chloride water solution and a foamer or filling gas, wherein the mass of the modifier accounts for 5-30 percent of that of the light-calcined magnesia powder or the caustic dolomite powder; the mass of the magnesium chloride water solution accounts for 0.5-2 percent of that of the light-calcined magnesia powder or the caustic dolomite powder; the mass of the filling gas or the foamer accounts for 0.1-10 percent of the total mass of the light-calcined magnesia powder or the caustic dolomite powder, the modifier and the magnesium chloride water solution. The economic wall foamed block material is excellent in property and can greatly improve the integral strength and ductility of blocks.
