The invention discloses a hydropower station underground powerhouse unit transformer access tunnel structure and a construction method thereof. The structure comprises rock face simply support crane beams and rock face stand columns disposed in the positions of a unit transformer access tunnel; the rock face simply support crane beams are located on the upper portions of the rock face stand columns; rock face crane beams are disposed on the two sides of the corresponding rock face simply support crane beam; a row of tensile anchor rods are disposed on one side, close to the rock face, of the corresponding rock face simply support crane beam; stand column joint bars are disposed on one side, close to the rock face, of the corresponding rock face stand column and connected with surrounding rocks; stand column concrete foundations are disposed at the lower ends of the rock face stand columns; basic joint bars are disposed at the bottoms of the stand column concrete foundations; system supporting anchor rods are further disposed on the sides, close to the rock face, of the corresponding rock face simply support crane beams. The structure with the reinforced concrete rock face stand columns and the rock face simply support crane beams is adopted, the other row of tensile anchor rods and a row of pressed anchor rods which the rock face crane beams need are omitted, moreover the rock mass stability that the rock face crane beams step into the unit access tunnel is improved, and the construction is convenient.
