The invention provides an installation method of a main bottom board of a large ball mill and relates to the technical field of installation methods of large ball mills. The method includes the steps that firstly, lines are drawn on a concrete foundation according to the appearance contour of the main bottom board and the installation positions of all auxiliary bottom boards are determined; then, all the auxiliary bottom boards are fixed to the concrete foundation through fully-threaded bolts and leveled through adjustment of nuts on the fully-threaded bolts on the upper sides and the lower sides of the auxiliary bottom boards; temporary adjustable sizing block sets are evenly distributed on the concrete foundation, the adjustable sizing block sets are used for leveling the main bottom board and adjusting the elevation of the main bottom board to the design required value, and then the main bottom board is fixed to the concrete foundation through foundation bolts; the nuts on the lower sides of all the auxiliary bottom boards are adjusted and the upper planes of all the auxiliary bottom boards are jacked so as to make tight contact with the lower plane of the main bottom board; and finally, a grouting material is poured to all the auxiliary bottom boards on the concrete foundation in a bed-mortar manner. By the adoption of the method, the complex steps for installation and adjustment of the main bottom board are simplified, the high contact rate of the lower plane of the main bottom board is guaranteed, and safe and stable operation of equipment is guaranteed.
