The invention discloses a pumping station water drawing pipe protective device for hydraulic engineering; the protective device comprises an upper-section water pipe (7), a lower-section water pipe (6) and a fixed ring bracket (67), wherein the lower-section water pipe (6) extends to be positioned underwater, and the fixed ring bracket (67) is fixedly arranged on the boundary of the upper-section water pipe (7) and the lower-section water pipe (6); a drive motor device (8) is hinged on the side, close to a water side wall (1), of the fixed ring bracket (67); the drive motor device (8) is in power connection to the upper end of a threaded sleeve (9) which is in threaded fit with a screw rod (91); and a fixed lug (62) is arranged on the side, close to the water side wall (1), near a water drawing port at the tail end of the lower-section water pipe (6).
