The invention discloses a herringbone ladder with a deck chair function. The herringbone ladder comprises a main ladder and a support ladder, wherein one end of the main ladder is hinged to one end of the support ladder; the main ladder comprises two parallelly erect side plates and multiple stages of pedals connected between the side plates; the support ladder comprises two parallelly erect side plates and a top-stage pedal and a first-stage pedal which are respectively arranged at the upper ends and the lower ends of the side plates; multiple stages of first limit slots are formed in the lower ends of the side plates of the support ladder; multiple stages of second limit slots are formed in the upper ends of the side plates of the main ladder; a rectangular wear-resistant fabric is arranged between the support ladder and the main ladder; each of the upper end and the lower end of the wear-resistant fabric is fixedly connected with a sitting rod; the sitting rod at the lower end of the wear-resistant fabric is transversely placed in the corresponding first limit slots in a matched manner; the sitting rod at the upper end of the wear-resistant fabric is transversely placed in the corresponding second limit slots in a matched manner. The herringbone ladder with the deck chair function can not only be used for high-place operation but also allow operating personnel to sit and lie to have a rest at leisure, can adjust the postures of the resting operating personnel to be at comfortable angles and is simple and practical.
