The invention discloses a spring pin for door and window installation and an integral door and window installation method. The spring pin for door and window installation comprises a pin sleeve, a spring, a pin body, a spring blocking column and a pull rope. The spring sleeve is provided with a first end and a second end opposite to the first end in position. The first end is provided with two round holes opposite in position. The spring is mounted in the pin sleeve, and one end of the spring is in contact with the second end of the spring sleeve. The pin body is mounted in the pin sleeve. One end of the pin body is in contact with the other end of the spring. The spring blocking column is inserted into the round holes. One end of the pull rope is connected with the spring blocking column. When a door and window unit is installed, the spring pin is wholly pushed into a hole defined by an installed window body installation auxiliary frame, then the pull rope of the spring pin is pulled out, the pin body is inserted into a clamping groove of the window body installation auxiliary frame, and a window body and the auxiliary frame are connected. By means of the spring pin, integral window installation of the door and window is achieved, and industrial and standard production of building doors and windows is facilitated.
