The invention provides a high-strength high-wear-resistance polishing and grinding block. The high-strength high-wear-resistance polishing and grinding block comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 20%-30% of iron oxide, 20%-30% of aluminum oxide, 25%-30% of calcined kaolin and 3%-6% of a wear-resistant additive. The wear-resistant additive comprises the following components inpercentage by weight: 10%-13% of calcium carbonate powder, 10%-15% of sodium bentonite, 20%-35% of distilled water, 20%-25% of sodium hexametaphosphate, 8%-10% of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, 6%-10% of coconut fibers and 6%-10% of xylene. The polishing and grinding block in the invention overcomes the defect that no special polishing and grinding block for grinding of stainless steel has beenreported in the prior art, and the defects that when a universal polishing and grinding block is used for grinding stainless steel, the strength of the polishing and grinding block is not enough, an abrasion rate is sharply increased, grinding efficiency is reduced and the grinding cost is increased. According to the high-strength high-wear-resistance polishing and grinding block and the preparation method thereof, production steps are simple, production efficiency is high, and the high-strength high-wear-resistance polishing and grinding block has the advantages of high strength and low wearrate in stainless steel grinding.
