The intention discloses a production method of a ceramic binder used in an unfired carbon-containing brick process formula, and the method comprises the following steps: fine powder milling, namely adding a carbon raw material into magnesia fine powder to obtain mixed powder in a weight ratio of magnesia fine powder to carbon raw material of (65-90): (10-35), adding a grinding aid and rare earth into the mixed powder to obtain a mixture, adding water into the mixture for milling to obtain fine powder slurry of 3500-4000 meshes, wherein the water content of the fine powder slurry is 35-55%; drying, namely adding a slurry stabilizer into the fine powder slurry, and drying to obtain a finished product, the water content of the finished product is 0.5-6%, the production process is simple and feasible, the production cost is low, phenolic resin is completely replaced with the ceramic binder for adding in the unfired carbon-containing brick, and due to the fact that the ceramic binder is a powder substance, holes of a green brick can be blocked; therefore, the addition of anti-oxidation metal powder can be correspondingly reduced.
