The traffic cone comprises a traffic cone body, an information acquisition module, acommunication module, a processor and an output module, wherein the information acquisition module, the communication module, the processor and the output module are arranged on the traffic cone bodyand connected with one another; the communication module is used for receiving first vehicle information of a target vehicle, and the first vehicle information comprises the vehicle running speed andthe first distance between the target vehicle and the traffic cone; the information acquisition module is used for acquiring current environmental parameters; the processor is used for generating second vehicle information according to the current environmental parameters and the first vehicle information; the processor is further used for generating an output instruction according to the second vehicle information; and the output module is used for outputting prompt information according to the output instruction. According to the embodiment of the invention, a communication function and a data processing function are set for the traffic cone, data acquisition and data processing are carried out, and more effective and accurate prompt information is output to meet the safety requirement of road prompt.
