The hinged type steel structure joint comprises a square steel columnand a steel I-beam; the left side surface and the right side surface of the square steel column are each provided with a pair of installing lugs; an upper connecting plate and a lower connecting plateare installed between each pair of installing lugs, wherein a reinforcing plate is connected to the upper connecting plate and the lower connecting plate; the reinforcing plates on the two sides forma closed loop; flange plate fixing lugs and web fixing lugs are fixedly connected to the surfaces of the reinforcing plates; the flange plate fixing lugs are connected with flange plates of the steelI-beam; and deformation plates are arranged between the web fixing lugs and a web of the steel I-beam. Through the annular structure formed by the reinforcing plates, the square steel column and thesteel I-beam are fixedly connected, the welding surface is small, or the number of holes is small, damage to the structure of an original square steel column and an original steel I-beam is small, andthe structural strength of the connecting point position is relatively high.
