The invention relates to a construction method for an electromagnetic compatibility laboratory. The construction method includes the following construction steps that firstly, a parent structure of the laboratory is established according to design requirements; secondly, powder flattening is conducted on the periphery of the parent structure; thirdly, a flexible electromagnetic wave absorption material is stuck to the wall obtained after powder flattening; fourthly, corresponding equipment connection of the electromagnetic shield laboratory is completed, wherein the flexible electromagnetic wave absorption material in the third step includes a composite material comprising components A and components B, the components A are adopted as the base material of the composite material, the components B are evenly mixed and distributed in the components A, and the mass ratio of the components A and the components B can be adjusted according to different electromagnetic frequency wave bands andare used for achieving electromagnetic shielding of different wave bands.
