The invention discloses a door closer capable of being self-locked and remotely controlled. The door closer comprises a cylinder sleeve, a connecting pipe, a piston, a connecting rod, a right limitingblock, a first spring, a pull rod, an upper limiting block, a lower limiting block, an electromagnetic switch, a second spring and a rotating shaft. According to the door closer, by designing a self-locking device, the door closing function fails after the door closer is self-locked, but meanwhile, the damping effect is kept; a door with the door closer can be located at any position, when a firedisaster occurs, the self-locking device of the door closer can be remotely controlled by a fire protection control center or manually triggered, a fireproof door is closed, and meanwhile the state is fed back to the fire protection control center; and it is ensured that the door closer acts by one hundred percent when a fire disaster occurs, and the fireproof door is in a closed state. Then, when the door closer is self-locked, the fireproof door is in an arbitrary state, and use is facilitated for people. In addition, the door closer cannot be self-locked until the self-locking conditions of the door closer are triggered. Moreover, the door closer still has certain damping when being self-locked and the damping can be adjusted.
