The invention provides a bridge temporary support which comprises an adjustable support and a supporting frame, and the adjustable support is located at the top of the supporting frame and used for adjusting the horizontal height of a bridge segment installed on the temporary support. According to the temporary support of the bridge, the calibration speed of the bridge subsections can be increased, the course closure time in bridge construction is shortened, and meanwhile deformation caused by differential settlement after closure of the bridge subsections can be eliminated. Meanwhile, the invention further provides a construction method of the bridge.
