The invention discloses a slope protection structure and construction method for repairing a landslide body by utilizing live stumps. The construction method comprises the following steps that a, early-stage treatment of the shallow landslide body is carried out; b, slope toe treatment is carried out; c, live stump and timber pile implantation is carried out; d, mud skin laying is carried out; ande, post maintenance and processing are carried out. In the step a, a1, a berm is arranged; a2, site leveling construction and construction road arrangement are arranged; a3, the surface of the shallow landslide body is cleaned; and a4, a drainage ditch is arranged. In the step b, b1, muddy soil at the slope toe is cleaned; b2, leveling is carried out; b3, a slope foot support structure is arranged; b4, topping is carried out; and b5, a berm is arranged. In the step c, c1, timber piles are driven into the undisturbed soil; c2, a plurality of timber piles are distributed; c3, the timber piles are fixed and then live stumps are implanted; and c4, the live stumps are fixed. The construction method aims to solve the technical problems that in the prior art, by using the slope treatment engineering technology, the construction cost is high, the rigid slope protection structure is easy to fail, the requirement on the site is too high, and the adverse effect on the environment is generated.
