The invention, which relates to the technical field of rail paving, discloses a construction method of a durable tramcar rail side paving structure. The method comprises the following steps: fixing aprefabricated pipe on a vibration damping block; enabling the lower end of the prefabricated pipe to transversely penetrate the damping block and enabling the lower end opening of the prefabricated pipe to be located in the side wall, facing the rail, of the damping block; pouring concrete into a foundation pit, and forming a concrete layer after concrete solidification; forming a sealing groove in the upper portion of the damping block; injecting a sealant into the upper end of the prefabricated pipe in a pressurized mode, enabling the sealant to enter a gap beside the damping block through the prefabricated pipe and then overflow upwards into the sealing groove; and after sealant solidification, forming a sealant layer in the sealing groove by the sealant. According to the construction method, the sealant is injected between the damping blocks (namely between semi-flexible transition layers) in a pressurized mode, the gap beside the damping block is not prone to expanding, so that the rail has long-time stability; and because of the combination of the first damping block and the second damping block, the good vibration reduction performance and high structural strength are realized.
