The invention relates to a waterproof structure of a bridge expansion joint and a waterproof method of the bridge expansion joint. The waterproof structure of the bridge expansion joint comprises a waterstop, wherein the waterstop is arranged in the bridge expansion joint to form a water guide groove extending in the width direction of a bridge; an elastic glue mold and an elastic sealant are arranged in the bridge expansion joint, and the elastic glue mold and the elastic sealant are sequentially arranged above the waterstop; the elastic glue mold is clamped in the bridge expansion joint, andthe elastic glue mold and the joint walls on the two sides of the bridge expansion joint jointly define a glue pouring groove for pouring a glue solution; and the elastic sealant is formed by solidifying the glue solution poured into the glue pouring groove and is used for isolating the upper space from the lower waterstop. The corresponding waterproof method of the bridge expansion joint comprises the steps that the glue solution is poured into the glue pouring groove, the elastic sealant is formed after the glue solution is solidified, and the elastic sealant is used for isolating the upperspace from the lower waterstop. According to the scheme, the problem that the waterproofness at an existing bridge expansion device is prone to failing can be solved.
