The decorative wall for the building comprises a wall body, and an installing baseis arranged on the wall body; limiting frames are arranged on the side, deviating from the wall body, of the installing base; containing cavities for containing objects are defined by the limiting frames; a rotating table is arranged in each containing cavity, and provided with a rotating rod in the horizontal direction; the other end of each rotating rod is movably provided with a functional plate which is vertically placed; containing plates are hinged to the front sides of the functional plates, and rotate around rotating shafts in the vertical direction; the containing plates and the functional plates are fixed through fixing mechanisms; partition plates are arranged on the containing plates at intervals, and perpendicular to the containing plates; and the containing plates are further provided with T-shaped grooves located among the partition plates.
