The invention relates to an installation structure and method of an indoor wall sound-absorbing panel. The installation structure comprises a wall body and a sound-absorbing panel. The sound-absorbingpanel is fixed to the wall body through a connecting piece, the connecting piece comprises plug sleeves separately and vertically fixed to the back of the sound-absorbing panel and plug pipes vertically fixed on the wall surface of the wall body, plug holes are formed in the pipe walls of the plug pipes, and plug openings are formed in the side walls of the plug sleeves. When the plug pipes are inserted into the plug sleeves, the plug openings and the plug holes are relatively coincident. Plug tongues are slidably connected into the plug holes, and one ends, towards plug pipe inner holes, ofthe plug tongues extend into the plug pipe inner holes. Driving members for driving the plug tongues to extend into the plug openings are arranged in the plug pipes, operation ends of the driving members are exposed from the outer surface of the sound-absorbing panel, and elastic members for driving the plug tongues to come out of the plug openings are arranged inside the plug pipes. The installation structure and method of the indoor wall sound-absorbing panel has the advantage that the removal of the installed sound-absorbing panel from the wall body is convenient when the sound-absorbing panel requires to be removed.
