The wooden floor short-edge installation mechanism includes a knocking device and a clamping device, wherein the knocking device includes a drive assembly and a knocking piece, and the drive assembly can drive the knocking piece to apply intermittent knocking force; the clamping device includesa clamping installation seat, a clamping piece, a connecting piece and a locking assembly, wherein the clamping piece is used for clamping the short side of a wooden floor, and arranged on one end ofthe connecting piece, and a knocking piece action part is arranged on the other end of the connecting piece; the connecting piece is movably arranged on the clamping installation seat, and when the knocking piece applies knocking force to the knocking piece action part, the clamping piece is driven by the connecting piece to apply force to the short edge of the wooden floor; and the locking assembly is arranged between the clamping installation seat and the connecting piece, and when the knocking piece stops knocking, the knocking piece action part restricts movement of the connecting piece before the next knocking.
