The invention provides a hoisting method for a cable-stayed bridge steel box girder. The hoisting method comprises the following steps that S001, a pair of lower guide rails is laid on the lower surface of each box girder section; S002, the starting segments of the box girder sections are hoisted, and then are connected to a main tower to form the steel box girder, and a bridge deck crane is assembled on the steel box girder; a girder transporting crane is assembled on the lower guide rails; S003, temporary lower guide rails are connected to the steel box girder; S004, the box girder sectionsare hoisted and then are transported to the temporary lower guide rails by the girder transporting crane; S005, the bridge deck crane is connected with the box girder sections, and the connection between the girder transporting crane and the box girder sections is disconnected; S006, the girder transporting crane is removed from the temporary lower guide rails, and the temporary lower guide railsare disassembled; S007, the height of the box girder sections is adjusted by the bridge deck crane, so that the box girder sections are aligned with the connecting end of the steel box girder, and thebox girder sections are connected with the steel box girder together; S008, the connection between the bridge deck crane and the box girder sections is disconnected, and the bridge deck crane is moved to the box girder sections; and S009, the contents in the above steps are repeated until the hoisting construction is completed.
