The revetment comprises a shrub protection cushion layer, anchor wood piles, a drainage gully, and shrub faggots,wherein the shrub protection cushion layer is laid along a shore slope, the anchor wood piles are inserted into the shrub protection cushion layer and the shore slope, a long press rod is pressed above the shrub protection cushion layer, and the long press rod is fixed on the anchor wood piles; the drainage gully is excavated at the lower end of the shore slope along the edge water line of a river channel, the lower part of the shrub protection cushion layer is laid in the drainage gully, and the lower end of the shrub protection cushion layer is leaked out to be soaked in water; and the shrubs faggots are laid above the shrub protection cushion layer in the drainage gully, and the shrubs faggots are fixed on the shrub protection cushion layer and the drainage gully by being inserted by the anchor wood piles. According to the self-healing faggot protection cushion ecological revetment designed based on the sponge city construction concept, by utilizing the combination of the natural plant materials, a river bank is reinforced, the direct flushing of a river water flow to the bottom of the shore slope can be reduced, meanwhile, rainwater can be eliminated, and water and soil loss is prevented.
