The invention discloses a steel truss connecting rod length adjusting device. The device comprises a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod. An installation box is welded to the outer side of the first connecting rod. The front wall of the installation box is rotationally provided with a first rotating shaft. A first gear is connected to the first rotating shaft. A second gear is engagedwith the first gear. A second gear key is connected to a second rotating shaft. A first bevel gear is connected to a second rotating shaft key. A second bevel gear is engaged with the first bevel gear. A second bevel gear key is connected to a third rotating shaft. The third rotating shaft is rotationally connected with a first installation block through a bearing. The first installation block isfixed at the upper end of the first connecting rod. A screw rod is welded to the upper end of the third rotating shaft. A driving nut is arranged on the screw rod in a threaded drive mode. A second installation block is embedded in the outer side of the driving nut. A second installation block is fixed to the lower end of the second connecting rod. A locking mechanism is arranged between the installation box and the second gear. The length of truss connecting rods can be adjusted, and the connecting rod tension stability and firmness are improved.
