The invention provides a fixing device and a cross beam. The fixing device comprises a first installing plate and a second installing plate; one end of the first installing plate is provided with a fixing piece, and the other end of the first installing plate is provided with an installing hole; the second installing plate is provided with an installing shaft which extends out of the two sides ofthe second installing plate; and the installing shaft is installing in the installing hole in a sleeved manner. According to the technical scheme of the fixing device, when a main cross beam body andan auxiliary cross beam body are installed, after the main cross beam body is fixed, then the first installing plate is installed on the main cross beam body; meanwhile, the second installing plate isinstalled on the auxiliary cross beam body, and therefore it is achieved that the main cross beam body and the auxiliary cross beam body are connected, that is, the auxiliary cross beam body is indirectly fixed to the main cross beam body in an assisting manner, so that the auxiliary cross beam body can be fixed to the main cross beam body by a constructor, and therefore it is not needed that a plurality of persons perform lifting, manpower is saved, and the installing convenience an fastness degree and the installing efficiency of the cross beam are improved.
