The extensible guard rail frame comprises a guard rail frame body and a base used for supporting and installing a propaganda banner, an angle steel plate and a lower hanger are fixed to the base, and a fastening mechanism is fixed to the angle steel plate.The fastening mechanism can be fixedly connected with the guard rail frame body, and a driving part and a telescopic mechanism driven by the driving part are arranged on the base. The telescopic mechanism comprises a first connecting rod assembly and a second connecting rod assembly, the lower end of the first connecting rod assembly is connected with the driving part, the upper end of the firstconnecting rod assembly is connected with the lower end of the second connecting rod assembly through auxiliary connecting rods and a set of gear pair, a lifting plate is fixedly connected with the upper end of the second connecting rod assembly, and an upper hanger corresponding to the lower hanger is fixed to the lower surface of the lifting plate. According to the extensible guard rail frame and the using method thereof, adaptive adjustment can be carried out according to the height of the propaganda banner, the practicability is high, and operation safety is improved; and besides, the structure is simple, implementation is easy, cost of all the components is low, and maintaining and repairing cost can be conveniently reduced.
