The invention relates to a buffering protective fence. The buffering protective fence comprises bases evenly distributed in the extending direction of a road, each base comprises a deformable supporting rod fixed to the road surface and a horizontally-arranged buffering box, and buffering plates are arranged in each buffering box in the extending direction of the road; and the buffering protectivefence further comprises at least one steel rope penetrating through the buffering boxes and the buffering plates in the buffering boxes, each steel rope is fixedly provided with an impacting body inthe corresponding buffering box, and when the steel ropes continuously move in the axial direction, the impacting bodies fixed to the steel ropes sequentially impact and crush the buffering plates. The buffering protective fence can gradually buffer the impact kinetic energy of an automobile, and rigid impact on the automobile is restrained to the maximum extent.
