The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, in particular to a mounting method and structure for heat-preservation decoration composite plates. The mounting method for the heat-preservation decoration composite plates comprises the following steps that keels are mounted at a wall surface, and gaps are formed between a plane where the keels are located and the wall surface; hanging pieces are mounted on the keels and used for fixedly connecting the two adjacent heat-preservation decoration composite plates, glue is applied to the contact position of the hanging piecesand the heat-preservation decoration composite plates, and glue is applied to the contact position of the keels and the heat-preservation decoration composite plates; and cavities between the heat-preservation decoration composite plates and the wall surface are filled with adhesives from the gaps between the keels and the wall surface.
