The invention discloses a strong and weak alternating type unit-typed curtain wall system which comprises strong frame type curtain wall units and weak frame type curtain wall units, wherein the strong frame type curtain wall units are installed on a building body at equal intervals in a lateral direction; one weak frame type curtain wall unit is installed between every two laterally adjacent strong frame type curtain wall units; frames of the weak frame type curtain wall units are connected with frames of the strong frame type curtain wall units or are connected with the building body; and ina visual direction from an indoor space to an outdoor space, the frames of the weak frame type curtain wall units are covered with the frames of the strong frame type curtain wall units to form hidden placement. The curtain wall system has the advantages that an appearance is slender, the curtain wall system is beautiful and presentable, and airtightness can be improved.
