The invention proposes a floor for building construction. The floor comprises a base layer and a surface layer, wherein a plurality of clamping grooves are formed in the base layer, clamping strips are arranged on the surface layer, the clamping strips are uniformly distributed on the lower surface of the surface layer, the clamping strips and the surface layer are integrally arranged, the positions of the clamping strips correspond to those of the clamping grooves, the clamping strips are in clamping fit with the clamping grooves, the lower ends of the clamping strips and the lower ends of the clamping grooves are arranged at intervals, elastic rubber pads are provided at gaps between the clamping strips and the clamping grooves, the left side of the base layer is provided with a first positioning protrusion and a first positioning groove, the right side of the base layer is provided with a second positioning protrusion and a second positioning groove, a containing cavity is arrangedat the lower side of the base layer, the containing cavity is filled with liquid water glass, and the containing cavity is provided with a channel. The floor for housing construction provided by the invention can prevent uneven parts on the ground from influencing the surface layer, and meanwhile, the surface layer is convenient to install, replace and maintain.
