Frozen soil freezing depth measuring device and measuring method thereof
The invention relates to a frozen soil freezing depth measuring device and a measuring method thereof. The device comprises an outer pipe, an inner pipe and a measuring solution. The outer pipe is a hollow tubular body with a blocked bottom end, the inner pipe is a transparent hollow tubular body, the inner pipe is installed in the outer pipe in a penetrating mode and is in sliding connection withthe outer pipe, the measuring solution is contained in the inner pipe, and a top end and a bottom end of the inner pipe are blocked through sealing rings. The measuring method comprises the steps ofdigging a deep pit with a depth reaching a lower portion of a frozen soil layer; vertically placing the outer pipe into the deep pit; completely backfilling a gap between the outer pipe and soil; injecting the measuring solution into the inner pipe, sealing the orifice of the inner pipe to prevent the measuring solution from running off, and then making the inner pipe penetrate into the outer pipe; taking out the inner pipe, observing the height of a discoloration section of the measuring solution, and judging a frozen soil freezing depth; making a pipe cap cover the upper ends of the outer pipe and the inner pipe at the same time; during secondary measurement, opening the pipe cap, taking out the inner pipe, and accurately judging the frozen soil freezing depth by observing the height ofthe discoloration section of the measuring solution.
