The invention relates to water control and fruit cracking prevention apparatus for fruit trees and a working method thereof. The water control and fruit cracking prevention apparatus for the fruit trees comprises a rainwater collection layer, a water storage device, and a permeable water pipe belt; the rainwater collection layer comprises two parts, including a permeable layer and a water collection membrane; the permeable layer comprises crushed stones, sand or perlite laid on the ground of an orchard; the water collection membrane is tilted, and is arranged under the permeable layer; a low position of the water collection membrane is connected to the water storage device, so that surface water can rapid infiltrate the permeable layer and flow into the water storage device through the water collection membrane; and the permeable water pipe belt comprises a plurality of conveying pipelines, as well as permeable bands with high water absorbency arranged inside the conveying pipelines. The water control and fruit cracking prevention apparatus for the fruit trees is capable of decreasing water content in surface soil of an orchard, reducing evaporation of surface water, improving rootventilation, increasing water content in deep soil so as to promote growth of deep root systems, promoting deepening of the root systems, and improving effective utilization of water so as to improveyield and quality of fruit trees.
