The antibacterial ceramic material comprises the following components: silicon carbide, hardystonite, zirconium diboride, an antibacterial agent, titanium dioxide, diatomite, a dispersing agent, zirconium oxide and magnesium oxide. The zirconium diboride, the antibacterial agent and the titanium dioxide in the components of the antibacterial ceramic material all have very good antibacterial effects; the diatomite contained in the components has an adsorption effect, so the zirconium diboride, the antibacterial agent and the titanium dioxide can be well adsorbed in the ceramic material, and therefore, propagation of bacteria can better inhibited; and thus, the ceramic material prepared from the silicon carbide, the hardystonite, thezirconium diboride, the antibacterial agent, the titanium dioxide, the diatomite, the dispersing agent, the zirconium oxide and the magnesium oxide has a very good antibacterial effect.
