The invention provides an anti-freezing coal gangue hollow brick which comprises a brick body, and the surface of the brick body is coated with an anti-freezing agent. The brick body comprises the following components in parts by weight: 50-65 parts of coal gangue, 15-25 parts of expanded and vitrified microbeads, 5-15 parts of perlite, 4-6 parts of ceramic powder, 15-17 parts of bamboo fiber and2-9 parts of an activating agent. The porous brick fired by the method takes the coal gangue as a main material, is reasonable in formula and has the characteristics of reasonable process design, simple operation, energy conservation, comprehensive utilization of wastes and the like, the prepared hollow brick is high in strength and good in quality, and the surface of the brick is coated with theanti-freezing agent after sintering, so that the anti-freezing performance of the brick body is remarkably improved.
