The invention discloses a construction method of an improved ecological ridge capable of reducing the farmland runoff impact and the non-point source pollution. The construction method comprises the steps that a ridge body of the ridge is heightened and widened, and the structure and the shape of the ridge are improved; intercepting layers with different functions and effects are arranged in the ridge body of the ridge, specifically, the intercepting layer on the side close to farmland is an iron carbon packing layer, the intercepting layer in the middle is a zeolite layer, and the intercepting layer on the side far away from the farmland is a biological carbon layer; and plants with different ecological functions are grown on the top and the outer side of the ridge, specifically, herbaceous nitrogen and phosphorus enrichment plants and herbaceous soil fixation plants are grown on the top of the ridge, and the herbaceous nitrogen and phosphorus enrichment plants are grown on the outerside of the ridge. By the adoption of the ecological ridge, the farmland runoff can be effectively resisted, and the effects that water and soil are preserved, and leakage of non-point source pollutants is avoided and controlled are achieved; and the non-point source pollutants which laterally seep can be effectively removed, and the effect that the agricultural non-point source pollution is reduced is achieved.
