The method comprises the following steps: mixing and crushing bagasse and wheat straw; mixing and grinding a solid product, cullet, calcite and other raw materials; performing high-temperature treatment to obtain molten glass; and putting the molten glass in a glass wool centrifuge for processing and drying to obtain the high-strength flame-retardant waterproof glass wool. According to the preparation method, thebagasse and the wheat straw are subjected to hydrochloric acid soaking and alkali liquor high-temperature treatment, fiber molecules are subjected to oxidation treatment through sodium hypochlorite,the bonding effect among all components in the glass wool is improved, the impact resistance of the glass wool is improved, and the durability is enhanced; aluminum ions are introduced into plant fibers, the mechanical strength of the glass wool is improved, meanwhile, elemental aluminum is dispersed in the glass wool by using the fiber component, the flame retardant performance of the glass woolis enhanced under the condition of high temperature, and the fiber component and carbohydrate compounds are carbonized to improve the waterproof performance and mechanical strength, and wide application prospects are achieved.
