The invention provides a colored polymer cement mortar coating which comprises the following components in parts by mass: 10-15 parts of acrylate polymer latex, 25-35 parts of cement, 45-50 parts of colored sand, 1.5-3.5 parts of color paste and 10-15 parts of water. According to the colored polymer cement mortar coating provided by the invention, the acrylate polymer latex is added, so that the effects of cross-linking bonding and increasing the bonding strength and the flexibility of the material are achieved, and the colored polymer cement mortar coating provided by the invention has relatively good toughness and bonding strength at the same time. The invention further provides an application of the colored polymer cement mortar coating as a pavement coating.
