The invention belongs to the field of new material ceramics, and particularly relates to a composite phase honeycomb ceramic and a method for controlling the expansion coefficient of ceramic. The method mainly comprises the following steps: weighing corresponding mass of Al2O3, SiO2 and Li2CO3 raw materials, and uniformly mixing the Al2O3, SiO2 and Li2CO3 raw materials; adding a bonding additive into the mixed raw materials, uniformly mixing, and extruding honeycomb ceramic; performing rubber discharging on the extruded sample in a calcining furnace at the temperature of 600-650 DEG C, and performing heat preservation for 4-10 hours; and putting the glue-discharged sample into a sintering furnace to be synthesized and sintered at the temperature of 1350-1450 DEG C for 4-8 hours; and testing thermal expansion coefficient after sintering.
