The invention discloses a smell detection method based on an intelligent closestool. An air pump, a sensor, a signal amplification module, a CPU control module, a display module and a communication module are arranged. The CPU control module is connected with the air pump, the display module and the communication module; the CPU control module is used for extracting and analyzing the smell collected by the sensor; and the communication module realizes information interconnection between the CPU control module and a home data terminal as well as a medical information platform. According to thesmell detection method based on the intelligent closestool, when a user goes to the toilet, gas is collected through the air pump, the collected gas is analyzed to obtain the health condition and theillness degree of the user, so that the health condition of the user is preliminarily judged, and the user is reminded of further diagnosis.
