The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a main material, preparing a water-based silicon carbide slurry, carrying out spray granulation, obtaining a silicon carbide billet, and sintering to obtain the silicon carbide ceramic, wherein themain material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 80-92 parts of silicon carbide, 2-4 parts of lanthanum oxide, 1-3 parts of fumed silica, 1-2 parts of tantalum nitride and 0.5-1 part of aluminum oxide. The prepared high-density silicon carbide ceramic is good in sintering density and mechanical property.
