The invention discloses a device for cooling a pavement at a high temperature in summer. The device comprises a power cavity arranged underground; a temperature relay and a motor are arranged above the power cavity; the temperature relay and the motor are connected in series through an electric wire; the electric wire is externally connected with a power supply; meanwhile, an electromagnet is connected in series; the upper end of the temperature relay contacts the road surface; the lower end of the motor is connected with a first rotating shaft; the first rotating shaft is rotationally mountedin the power cavity; a first belt wheel and a first gear are mounted on the first rotating shaft; the first gear is meshed with a second gear; the second gear is arranged on a spline housing, the device water sprinkler is hidden under the pavement, the normal use of the pavement is not influenced at ordinary times, the water sprinkler can automatically ascend to spray water for cooling only whenthe temperature of the pavement is monitored to be too high, meanwhile, a sunshade can be supported to provide shade for pedestrians, and the continuous ascending of the temperature of the pavementisprevented.
