CONCRETE EMBEDDABLE CORBEL SYSTEM
A concrete embeddable mount for a ledge is provided, the concrete embeddable mount having a plate with a plurality of keyhole slots therein, four anchors extending from the back of the plate, for embedding the mount in a precast concrete component, wherein the anchors define vertices of a convex quadrilateral, and a fifth anchor extending from the back of the plate, wherein the fifth anchor is positioned within the convex quadrilateral defined by the four anchors. The invention further includes a ledge having a back plate and a perpendicular base extending from the back plate, wherein the backplate has a plurality of rearward extending studs aligned to engage the keyhole slots in the mount plate. Together, the mount and the ledge create a corbel system.
