The invention discloses a mortar hod capable of improving working efficiency. The mortar hod comprises a hod body and hod lugs; the bottom and the side wall of the hod form a hod-shaped cavity; the side wall is inclined outwards from bottom to top; the two symmetrical hod lugs are arranged at the top of the side wall; and the hod body can be moved by lifting and pulling the hod lugs. The mortar hod also comprises a base, telescopic rods, a bottom plate and universal wheels; the bottom of the hod body is arranged on the base in a dismountable manner; a handle is arranged on the side face of thebase; a plurality of telescopic rods are arranged at the bottom of the base; the bottom of the bottom plate is fixedly connected with the plurality of universal wheels; a plurality of fixed rods arearranged on the upper face of the bottom plate and are matched with the telescopic rods; and the relative spacing between the telescopic rods and the fixed rods can be adjusted. The fixed rods are hollow inside and a plurality of through holes are uniformly formed in the fixed rods from top to bottom; and spring rods are arranged at the lower portions of the telescopic rods and are matched with the through holes. The height of the mortar hod is raised and adjustable; and the height of the mortar hod is increased with the increasing of the height for plastering and wall building, so that the mortar hod is convenient to use and the working efficiency is improved, and the labor force is reduced by pushing the universal wheels instead of lifting the hod.
