The invention relates to a door lock unlocking device based on a safety air bag controller and a door lock unlocking method based on the safety air bag controller. The door lock unlocking device is used for a vehicle without a side sensor. The door unlocking device based on the safety air bag controller comprises a data acquisition unit, a door lock unlocking judgment unit and an instruction generation unit, wherein the data acquisition unit is used for acquiring an acceleration signal in the X direction and an acceleration signal in the Y direction received by the safety air bag controller from the safety air bag controller, and processing the acceleration signal to obtain an X-direction calibration parameter and a Y-direction calibration parameter; the door lock unlocking judgment unit is used for judging whether a door lock needs to be unlocked or not on the basis of the X-direction calibration parameter and the Y-direction calibration parameter acquired by the data acquisition unit; and the instruction generation unit is used for generating a door lock unlocking instruction under the condition that the door lock unlocking judgment unit judges that the door lock needs to be unlocked.
