The embodiment of the invention provides ballast bed crushing equipment, and relates to the field of ballast rails. The problems that ballast bed hardening is heavy and tamping is difficult in an existing rail turnout line section are solved. The ballast bed crushing equipment comprises a walking structure used for being in sliding fit with a steel rail; and the crushing structure is installed onthe walking structure through the rotating structure, so that the crushing structure can rotate relative to the walking structure, and therefore railway ballasts on the two sides of the steel rail arecrushed. In the process that the walking structure moves along the steel rail, the crushing structure and the rotating structure are driven to move synchronously, and the crushing structure crushes and tamps railway ballasts on one side of the steel rail; the crushing structure can rotate relative to the walking structure so as to crush railway ballasts on the two sides of a steel rail, and compared with manual operation small mechanical equipment, the ballast bed crushing equipment saves labor, the crushing strength can be improved, and crushing and tamping can be easily conducted on the heavily hardened position of a ballast bed of a bifurcated line section.
