The fire hydrant comprises an upper shell, a valve element, water outlets and an outer shell, the upper shell is installed on the valve element, the water outlets are located in the two sides of the valve element, the upper shell is installed on the outer shell in an embedded mode and is characterized in that a coating is arranged on inner wall of one side of shell and faces convex lens, convex lens is fixedly connected with shell in sealed mode, and base is welded to bottom of shell. The automatic unfreezing device is simple in structure and easy to maintain, a water source in the hydrant is automatically unfrozen under the irradiation of sunlight, the curved reflecting mirror is beneficial to better lightcondensation, no electric appliance power source is needed, the municipal cost is saved, and whether water exists in the hydrant or not can be judged through the floating ball.
