The method disclosed by the invention comprises the following steps of S1, performing surface pre-treatment on an original window screen to obtain a pre-treated window screen; and S2, performingwater repellency modification on the pre-treated window screen to obtain the super-hydrophobic breathable window screen. According to the preparation method for the super-hydrophobic breathable windowscreen and the super-hydrophobic breathable window screen, the surface of the prepared window screen has a super-hydrophobic function by performing the surface pre-treatment and the water repellencymodification on the original window screen in sequence; water droplets are prevented from penetrating through the window screen by utilizing low surface energy and surface tension so as to realize thefunctions of breathing and ventilating and preventing rainwater from flying indoors; the method disclosed by the invention is simple in process; and the prepared super-hydrophobic breathable window screen has an excellent water repelling effect.
