The invention discloses a support replacement structure and a support replacement method for a foundation pit. The support replacement structure comprises a fender post, a plurality of circuit purlins, a plurality of inner supports and a plurality of support replacement beams, wherein the circuit purlins comprise a top circuit purlin, a bottom circuit purlin and a plurality of middle circuit purlins; the inner supports comprise a top inner support, a bottom inner support and a plurality of middle inner supports which are separately arranged on the inner sides of the corresponding circuit purlins; and the support replacement beams correspond to the middle circuit purlins one by one, the support replacement beams are located on the inner sides of the corresponding middle circuit purlins, oneends of the support replacement beams are connected to the corresponding middle circuit purlins, the other ends of the support replacement beams cling to an exterior wall of a main body structure ofan underground building and face an internal parting wall of the main body structure, a vertical frame of the main body structure and an exterior wall of another main body structure vertically intersected to the exterior wall of the main body structure clinging to the support replacement beams. A soil pressure outside the foundation pit is transferred to the exterior wall, the internal parting wall or the vertical frame by means of the support replacement beams, the lateral soil pressure is resisted by means of side resistance of the exterior wall, the internal parting wall or the structure ofthe vertical frame body.
